The Mas d’en Guasch farm, which lends its name to the oil, is located between San Mateo, Tírig and La Salzadella, halfway between Bajo and Alto Maestrazgo. These regions of Castellón are among the most northerly of the Valencian Community. By car, the city of Valencia is about an hour and a half away, and Barcelona is just over two hours away. The farm is located some 30km from the Mediterranean coast, at an altitude of between 600 and 800m above sea level. It has 60 hectares of high-density olive groves, primarily of the Arbequina, Picual and Reguers varieties.
